Speaking Engagements

Dr Charlotte Proudman is a sought-after speaker at major public forums, literary festivals and cultural events, where she brings issues of legal reform and women’s rights into wider public conversation. She has spoken at leading platforms including the Hay Festival, Cheltenham Literature Festival, The Trouble Club and Harper’s Bazaar’s International Women’s Day events.

Charlotte has shared platforms with prominent cultural and legal figures such as Baroness Brenda Hale, Baroness Helena Kennedy KC, Kay Burley, Deborah Frances-White, Stacey Dooley and Suzie Miller, examining how law, culture and power intersect in cases of gender-based violence.

Drawing on her book He Said, She Said and her experience as a practising barrister, Charlotte speaks about misogyny within the justice system, the silencing of survivors, the misuse of “parental alienation”, systemic harm in the family courts, and the urgent need for structural law reform.

An experienced and compelling speaker, she is known for making complex legal issues accessible while maintaining depth, clarity and impact. Charlotte is available for festivals, panel discussions, keynote speeches and media commentary.
